Support policy
The current major version of each product receives active development, regular maintenance and security updates. When it is replaced by a new major version, a release covered by this policy moves to security-only support: security updates continue until its published end date, but new features and general maintenance end.
We review the security support end dates every January and extend them when needed, even if no new update is released. For releases covered by this policy, security support continues for at least five years after a new major version replaces them. Published end dates may be extended, but will not be shortened.
The older versions listed as unsupported are outside this support commitment and no longer receive maintenance or security updates.

Dates include the final day shown. Each entry covers a major version line (for example, 11.x); install the latest update in that line to receive its security fixes.

Unsupported versions may contain vulnerabilities that will not be fixed. We recommend moving to a supported version.
How to get security updates
Security updates are provided free of charge for the supported major version you are licensed to use. They are distributed as updated installers through the official download pages below. Download and run the installer for your major version to update your installation.

Security support is separate from eligibility for feature upgrades to a new major version. Buying a new major version is not required to receive security fixes during your version's security support period.
