I don't think that pc can run the OpenGL version of gPhotoShow, from the log I see every texture creation fails. Probably it doesn't display any image.
Install the DX version.
Anyway that error has nothing to do with freezes while playing video.

I think there is some kind of problem with display adapter drivers, maybe they are too old or their configuration limits the available memory. I don't know which display adapter you are using but old Intel iGPU are known to have any kind of OpenGL issues. In this case it is better to install the DX version of gPhotoShow Pro

The creator does not know what the issue is. Click on my profile and see my post history. I have had the same problem for years. If I run videos in PREVIEW, there are never any issues. But once the screen saver kicks in naturally and an video plays, instant freeze up. He blames VLC but I think it's a problem with this program.

Try without video and you will see if the problem is VLC, if program runs correctly without video the issue is caused by VLC, unfortunately since it is an external program I can't do anything about it. Since the issue affects very few users I guess it can be caused by display adapter drivers or by something else on the system.

I did. Please see my latest post: viewtopic.php?t=10228
I love this program, but it's really not working correctly anymore. I hope you update it soon.
