Hello,
Let me explain the bug I'm encountering on gPhotoShow Pro SlideShow maker.
I configured the software to display two different full-screen still images on two different screens.
So I created a folder containing 1 image to be displayed on the first screen and a folder containing 1 image to be displayed on the second screen.
I created a .gss shortcut on my desktop : when I click on it, the two images open full screen on two different monitors. But for reasons I don't understand, sometimes when I click on my shortcut to start the slideshow, the slideshow displays the same image on both monitors. It's completely random...
Sometimes the two screens correctly display my two different images, but sometimes both screens display the same image.
I don't understand why it's doing that, has anyone else had this problem ?
(I'm using the free pro version for 30 days.)
Thank you in advance for your help.
Bug displaying two different images
Re: Bug displaying two different images
Hello,
What you've noticed can happen when the slideshow restarts after displaying the first image.
In this case the random function can choose the same image again, since you only have two images there's a 50% chance of getting the same one. In a real-world situation, when you have thousands of images, the probability of getting the same image every once in a while is very low.

Thank you for your quick response. So there's no way to avoid this ?
Actually, I haven't found a way to display a still image on my first screen and a still image on my second screen.
I set “Image display time” to an infinite number of hours so that the image doesn't change.

Re: Bug displaying two different images
It depends on what you want to achieve. Using gPhotoShow to display a single image makes little sense, it was designed to handle thousands of images. But if that's what you want, simply disable the option "Save files list between sessions" in "File Options" page will work. Every time it start gPhotoShow will display one image on a monitor and the second one on second monitor, then restarts the slideshowredball wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 10:52 am Thank you for your quick response. Re: Bug displaying two different images
It works, thank you for your help !
Last question: do you know why images sometimes appear reversed ? The image assigned to screen 1 is displayed on screen 2, and sometimes vice versa ?

Re: Bug displaying two different images
By default, gPhotoShow chooses images randomly. In "File Options" set the sequential display to always have the images in the same order.
