I am running the new gPhotoshow Pro 10 Screensaver software on Windows 11 and want to use the display for a Memorial next week.
I have 300 photos that I just want to lay over the Memorial Slide in "Scrapbook Mode". (ie photos dropped on a desk)
The Scrapbook screensaver works fine but the Background Photo keeps changing. How do I select the same Background Photo to be up all the time?
Thanks for the help,
Doug
Same Background Image with Scrapbook Photos over top
Re: Same Background Image with Scrapbook Photos over top
Hello,
there is no specific functions for your use case but you can to do something like that using filters:
- store the pictures for you background in a folder with background in its name, for example c:\mypics\background
- store scrapbook pictures in a specific folder, for example c.\mypics\scrapbook
- add both folder to gPhotoShow images list
- in filters page:
1) un-tick the option "Use only one filter"
2) select background, tick Include, then Keywords and enter background in the edit field (or the name of the folder where you stored the pictures)
3) select scrapbook, tick Include, then Keywords and enter scrapbook in the edit field (or the name of the folder where you stored the pictures)
4) at the bottom of the page near Get Keywords from, tick "File Path"
5) make sure delimiters are the defaults " \-_,;"
Now it should work but there is a drawback, every time the number of images for the background finishes the list is reset, this cause repetitions in the scrapbook. The more images you have as your background, the better: you can duplicate them.

That is exactly what I was looking for!! This is fantastic !!
I am not only using it for the memorial next week, but also for my wall family photo album displayed on a 42" monitor that has replaced all of the wooden photo frames that used to hang.
Thank you for all of the creativity and hard work,
Doug
