Not Randomm display of PIX

I have 16000 photos in my Pictures folder. They do not seem to display randomly. The last 1000 photos I added rarely show up, even though I would expect to see one every 16 photos. I have file options set to random. I have not "weighted" any of my photos, so I assume they should all be weighted the same.

Anything I can do to make the display of photos more random?

Hello,
Provided no filters or weights are set and gPhotoShow scanned all folders containing new images, gPhotoShow selects images perfectly randomly using a Mersenne Twister MT19937 algorithm
Due to the way random number generators work, there is no guarantee that 1 photo every 16 will be taken from the most recent ones.
Only after a long run you will see that ratio between new and old photos.
