Does not detect Surface Pro 4 trackpad

Post by vOidward » Mon Jan 18, 2016 12:57 am

When auto detecting the SP4 trackpad it just shows blank, making the auto switch functionality unusable.

Hello,
is the trackpad listed in the dropdown list ? If yes, did you try to select it manually ?

It lists HID-compliant mouse 1-3.
#1 is the bluetooth mouse I use, which properly applies the profile.

I've tried manually selecting 2 and 3 for the touchpad but it never auto-initializes the profile.

If it is not listed the driver doesn't support raw input and for this reason it can't be detected by MouseSS

Same issue with the Surface Book 2. I've experimented with setting the trackpad to all HID devices... none are correct. So it appears that it is not detected by your application, rendering it unusable. I just paid for a license on the presumption that this would work... can I seek a refund?

If trackpad driver doesn't support raw input it is not listed and automatic setting change is not available. If you wish a refund please send us your email using the form on the web site
