No this is not correct.

"gPhotoShow Slide Show" works flawlessly. When it loads up, I have to hit LOAD on the bottom of the GUI to Load my settings. Then I hit PREVIEW on the bottom GUI and it displays images and videos without any issues whatsoever. No freeze. Videos play just fine!

I finally figured out what (I think) is going on! The link to gPhotoShow is not on my desktop, so at the bottom bar, I type gphoto but when I selected "screen saver", it took me to Windows "Screen Saver Settings", so I clicked on "Settings" in that window and it brought up the OLD gPhotoShow GUI ...
