Is it possible to customize the displayed image file information to show just year or maybe year + month (or variable/custom formats)? Would be especially cool if could independently format year/month/day independently. E.g.:

2021 OCT 30

more visually pleasing rather than current:

October 30, 2021

with current version it is not possible to customize file date display. I will consider adding this feature.

Adding +1 for the ability to mod the date overlay format: ie similar to this spec: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotne ... at-strings. Long-time paid user, excellent software, thank you.

You can already use a custom format for date display. Some variations are included in the drop-down of the date/time settings window but you can use any format you like following this documentation:

What is missing is the ability to have different font sizes for the date parts.
