When Music tab is configured to read files from an external drive. It errors out while playing music. Error showing up in the gphotoshow.log is

PlayMusic: GetRandom(6)= 0
PlayMusicMP: Playing file F:\Music\Song1.mp3
Media Player Error: 80040111 - ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I need to configure slideshow and music to play from USB drive.

It seems your media player doesn't know how to play MP3 files. This usually happens when the codec is missing but it should never happen with MP3 files since the codec is included with the Media Player installation. I found this article about error 80040111, take a look at it maybe it can help you.
