The Ugly splashscreen.

It's not very nice, I'd like to remove it.

How do I turn it off?

I am sorry but I am not an artist, a splash screen could be needed on some slow system to notify users the program is starting. If you can design something better it would be welcome.
About disabling the splash screen... if WallpaperSS starts automatically simply tick the option "No splash screen" in the General section of the Options window.
You you start WallpaperSS manually edit the shortcut and point it to WallpaperSSNoSplash.exe instead of WallpaperSS.exe
