Wallpaper flickers after midnight! (WIN 11)

This is an odd one. I've been using Wallpaper Slideshow Pro for a while now, but recently I had to reinstall my operating system and went from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since then, at midnight each night, the wallpaper starts flickering! Every 3seconds it momentarily dips to black. I can confirm it is to do with Wallpaper Slideshow Pro because any windows that are open do NOT flicker, and if I open the configure dialog box for Wallpaper Slideshow Pro the flickering stops until I close it again. When the configuration dialog box is closed, the flickering starts again.

This ONLY happens as the clock goes past midnight each night (I'm a night owl and I'm invariably at my PC at that time). Also if it should be noted that when the flickering is happening, right-clicking on the icon in the system tray instead of the normal menu, I get a single option "Cancel Current Operation" - when I select that Wallpaper Slideshow Pro says "Current Operation Aborted" but the flickering continues. (and the right-click menu still only offers "Cancel Current Operation").

Any suggestions? At present, I'm either having to open the dialog box to stop the flickering or go to bed early (the latter option is probably no bad thing but I'd still like to stop the flickering!).

Thanks for the reply.
I think I may have solved it. I think it was to do with the weather plugin I had installed to display weather on the wallpaper. It never worked properly but I hadn't deleted the plugin. When I did so last night the flickering immediately stopped. I guess the real test will be what happens at midnight tonight!

Further update. It's midnight and it is still flickering!
I have checked the scheduler page and nothing is scheduled at all.
The weather plug-in had come back again - removed it again. This time still flashing after removing it.
Stopped Wallpaper Slideshow Pro (via Task Manager as the only right click option available is still "cancel current operation") on restart the the flashing resumes. But at least I can confirm the weather plug-in isn't present now.
Any further suggestions?

Time for bed... will see what tomorrow brings.

Enable error logging in Settings->Options->Interface
Then restart WallpaperSS
After you see the issue get the log file (Open button in the Interface page), save to a location of your choice and sent it to me as an attachment

I stopped work before midnight last night so couldn't get the log. However, it's just started happening again (at midgnight) so I enabled the log. Restarted, and the flickering is still happening.

Two things. I spotted this just after posting a log above.

Firstly, looking at the log above, I notice that the same messages are being posted every 3-4 seconds, which is the frequency of the flashing.

Secondly, at 00:10:00 the wall papers changed (on the 30min change cycle) at this point the flickering stopped. Also the looping of messages in the log stopped. Here's the log showing the looping, the change of wallpaper and then the looping stopping:

Thanks for the log. The issue was caused by the update needed by the calendar. When the day changes WallpaperSS updates the background to reflect the date change but it didn't update the internal timestamp causing an infinite loop.
The issue has been fixed in version 5.5.3, you can find it in the download page.
