Obviously, it's not possible to use APIs that aren't provided by the plugin. Each API requires specific programming, and this can only be done by modifying and recompiling the code.MadNav wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 7:03 am do you locate the API syntax for the different providers in the drop down list? And, secondly, could an add custom provider API be included in the Weather plug-in?

Re: gPhotoShow Pro Weather Plugin
Thank you very much for your timely response. I am not a programmer for sure I'm oK at various script languages so the idea of recompiling code to add more is understandably more complex than just inserting a source with parameters.. my bad, I appreciate the inclusion of the provided weather plug-in providers. I have had a chance to create an openweathermap.org account and look forward to implementing my API Key to see my weather without having to go to the window ;D
BTW, totally enjoying gPhotoShow Pro and I am considering making a family 5 license bundle purchase to get more family involved in digital scrapbooks... stocking stuffer just in time for Christmas
any chance to get a Christmas Family bundle discount? Also, have you considered selling licenses in the Microsoft store? Just curious
.
FYI, the last endless screensaver test also crashed/froze the system about 9 hours in; Wi-Fi connection was fowled up and required network troubleshooting repair, strange. The error log revealed that several. HEIC files failed. Checked the files out and learned that .HEIC files have Internet dependencies that I'll have to go learn more about now but I digress... after a little more testing of the files I discovered that somehow Photo legacy was set as the default app, probably from my Walkman syncing, so I set Photo as the default app and so far there's no signs of issue. I am going to blame Photo legacy for breaking my network connection
I gotta say, everything about this program is crazy cool and only one item seems kinda lackluster that being videos. I would say as a wishlist item it would be nice to see the videos presented like motion scrapbook images
Thanks again for your time and efforts

Re: gPhotoShow Pro Weather Plugin
The gPhotoShow Pro license allows you to install and register the program on all computers you own. There is no need for a "family bundle".MadNav wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 10:52 pm BTW, totally enjoying gPhotoShow Pro and I am considering making a family 5 license bundle purchase to get more family involved in digital scrapbooks... stocking stuffer just in time for Christmasany chance to get a Christmas Family bundle discount?
The program is available in the Microsoft Store but most downloads come from Google searches.MadNav wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 10:52 pmAlso, have you considered selling licenses in the Microsoft store? Just curious.
