Requesting an portrait/landscape image selection option

Post by AtTheShow »

Some of my monitors are portrait. Some are landscape. I'd really like to be able to configure gPhotoShow so that it will only select portrait images for displays that are in portrait mode and landscape for displays that are in landscape. I realize I could create a standalone screensaver with only the right images selected, but I'd much prefer to use the dynamic screen saver process so new images are automatically picked up.

Hello,
this feature is supported through filters, open the gPhotoShow configuration window, go to the Filters section and from drop down labeled "Images" choose the orientation that you prefer for each monitor. In this case it is also better to un-tick the option "When one monitor finishes the list restart the slideshow on all monitors". It will cause some images to be repeated across the monitors but otherwise the slideshow would be restarted too often.
