I have a PC attached to a TV via an HDMI connection. When the TV is powered off gPhotoshow crashes with the following error message:
"gPhotoShow Pro Slide Show Maker has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I have just installed gPhotoShow Pro v6.1.1. I experienced the same problem with previous versions but I don't believe I had this problem a year or so ago. gPhotoshow is the only program which crashes when the TV is turned off. Is there any way to resolve, or avoid this problem?
Gphotoshow crashes when HDMI device powers off
Re: Gphotoshow crashes when HDMI device powers off
Hello,
I am able to reproduce the issue, the crash is caused by the scrapbook code that fails when DirectX disconnects from the powered-off monitor. If you set gPhotoShow to use standard 2D transitions or turn off scrapbook gPhotoShow should not crash any longer. I will fix this problem within few days in v6.1.2
