This is something that does not happen all the time, and I'm not sure what triggers it.
gPhotoshow usually runs seamlessly running through a folder on Window 10 that has both pictures and videos in the order they were taken.
However, once in a while, I notice that only videos are being shown, and it is obvious that gPhotoshow is skipping all of the intervening slides. I have all my pictures folders under a master folder H:\\DATA\Pictures. From watching the videos, I know the app is not only skipping the pictures in one folder, but also is moving on to other folders down the list.
Exiting the app by moving the cursor stops this behavior, and when the screen saver restarts, the problem is gone.
I have the app configured so the Videos and Photos are configured for the same DATA\Pictures. I have the maximum length set for 10 minutes (much longer that any of the actual videos that average 15-30 seconds, and where there might be a couple as long as 5 minutes)
Any ideas what causes this?
Using Version 9.0.10 released 3/26/24 (until upgrading this afternoon)
Videos not running sequentially with still pictures
Re: Videos not running sequentially with still pictures
Hello,
do you have a system with multiple monitors ? In this case and if you are using filters to select which files to display on each monitor it could happen that the slideshow is restarted quite often and slideshow begins again.
