Monitors

Post by Jocke69 »

Hi,

Trying to get the program to show specific wallpapers on a specific monitor without success.

I have 3 monitors hoked up to my computer an one of them is turned 90 degrees so i gave put some pictures in a specific folder and added pivo to the file name.

And under Options - Groups i have added group 1 with keyword pivo and group 2 keyword wide.
Activated Automatic assign wallpapers to group using keyword.

And then right clicked on wallpaper slideshow in the activation bar and assigned all groups to monitor 1 and 2 and on monitor 3 only group 1.

But it don't work!!!!

Have i missed something?

Hello,
what you did is correct and should work but you must be sure that the option "Get keywords from file name" is activated in Options->Filters
In addition make sure the delimiters field contains the delimiter you used, for example if your file name is pic1-pivo.jpg make sure that field contains the characters - and .

It was active but i did have pic1 dash - dash pivo.jpg .

I will change that without dashes and hope for the best :)

Naa it's not realy working but i found the other setting under filter.

On monitor 1 and 2 only use horizontally images.
So i put on display 3 Only vertically oriented images.

And this seams to work much better, its not 100% but close enough.
Some pictures is to hard to tell if they are horizontality ore vertically :)
And i don't have to add keywords :)

Now I'm happy :D :D

Now i did see that delimiters field didn't' have . in it so now it might work, but i will stick with the other filter instead.

Yes, the filters page has an easy option to display images with the orientation you wish on each monitor :)
