I found where to add the text to each photo displayed, but I want to change it to a larger font.
It lets me choose a new size, & shows in bottom box in a preview. but when i run the program it does not change the size on the picture shown on screen.. it still stays at the original 14 font.
what am i missing?

are you sure you changed text size for the right item ? I mean there are several "Text" buttons in gPhotoShow windows, you must change text properties for the item you wish to change.
In addition if you are editing screen saver settings you must open gPhotoShow configuration for the screen saver, not for the slideshow maker.
