Audio plays on videos - disable audio checked

I have gPhotoShow Pro 5.2.2. The audio is playing on videos while the screen saver is running even though "Disable Audio" is checked in the Video and Animations section. I don't know why this just started a couple of days ago. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to disable the audio while movies are playing on the slide show? Thank you.

It depends on the VLC version. Starting from version 2.1 the function to mute audio doesn't work any longer, I don't know why they took this decision, anyway I had to implement a workaround using the function to switch audio track.
Unfortunately the fix is only for v6, if you are still using version 5 please try it before purchasing the upgrade since the new function to mute VLC is not well tested.
