I'm getting "out of memory" error message and the software won't load up successfully anymore mainly because I have a huge amount of photos that I want to display.

Are there any other SLidewhow software that can handle a huge job?

if you get an "out of memory" message it means you have millions of files. WallpaperSS keeps in memory all file names it founds in the scanned directories, its memory limit is 3Gb. Only solution is to limit the number of files.
If the program don't start any longer you can reset its configuration by deleting all files in c:\users\your_user_name\\AppData\Roaming\WallpaperSSPro

I opened the .Lst file (via Notepad) and it list the image files. Could I delete selected files inside the .Lst instead of starting all over?

.lst files contain the files WallpaperSS found during directory scan, you can delete them but WallpaperSS will build them again on startup. You can open the .wgs file and delete some of the directory, look for lines wf0=, wf1= and so on.

Do I open the .wgs file withe Notepad?

Yes, it's a text file
