Re: Mixed normal and panormaic photos -- automatic scrolling
gPhotoShow Pro is able to automatically detect panoramic images and scroll them. You must tick the option "Enable automatic panoramic image detection" in the page Images->Display Options Then you have to choose the aspect ratio for panoramic image detection, for example if you enter 2.0 gP...

Re: DirectX and rss plugin
Thank you very much for the files. I found the problem and fixed it, on startup the plugin was creating a bitmap with zero width and this caused the problem. Please download the updated plugin from here: http://www.gphotoshow.com/files/RssFeedsPlugIn.exe BTW, all text inside xml file is converted fr...

Re: DirectX and rss plugin
From the log file I noticed something went from when calculating the size of DirectX textures. As first thing make sure you are using RSS Feeds Version 1.4.2, it contains some important bug fixes. If you already are using this version then it is possible that something in xml feed is causing it to f...

Re: Slideshow and Apple
I am sorry but I think there will never be a Mac version. In a program like gPhotoShow 90% of the code is very tied to a specific system (windows in this case) and porting it on another one means a total rewrite of the program. I am considering an Android version but I don't know how much time it co...

Re: Gphotoshow will not start
This is one of the most common windows issues. There is nothing wrong with gPhotoShow, screen savers are always started by windows when it detects the system is idle but in some cases windows disables the screen saver for some time. For example on windows 7 and 8 if you stop the screen saver after f...

Re: Minor bug with GPS/ControlSS? Disabled SS after reboot.
ControlSS never disables screen saver permanently, it uses a windows api that disables it only temporarily, after a reboot windows should enable it again. I can't say whether in your case this function is buggy or if something else is disabling the screen saver when windows starts. One thing I can s...

Re: how to view 2+ images on my screen
No, there is no way. Scrapbook is designed to arrange pictures on the background in a pseudo random way leaving some margin from all borders so they are somewhat grouped in the center.

Re: Minor bug with GPS/ControlSS? Disabled SS after reboot.
ControlSS disables the screen saver only temporarily, if the computer is restarted screen saver is enabled again. This is by design. If you wish to disable the screen saver when windows starts you need to set the option "Disable on Startup"

Re: how to view 2+ images on my screen
With the current version the only way to display more than one image is to use then scrapbook feature. It allows you to have a background image and several smaller overlapped images.
