if your laptop shuts down correctly WallpaperSS saves its images list to disk

Yes, it's a bug of version 8 it will be fixed on next update. In the meanwhile you can set the logon screen saver by running "gPhotoShow Slideshow Maker" then load settings from registry and set as logo screen saver. It should work.

It's greyed when it can't find the gPhotoShow executable, maybe it's a bug in the 64 bit version since the 64 bit executable has a different name. I will check issue next week.

The limit is used by the program to decide is a pictures will be stretched/cropped or side bands should be added. So in particular cases yes, a high limit value may cause too much stretch, for example consider a panoramic pictures (aspect ratio near to 3:1) if you have a limit value of 78 it will NO...

Monitor numbers in the Filters page are always related to number of monitor used by gPhotoShow. I mean, monitor #1 is the first monitor used, #2 is the second and so on.
