Re: Slideshow aborted on impossible MouseMove

Hello, MouseMove message notifies gPhotoShow that mouse has been moved, it uses absolute screen coordinates, in the log the last two numbers are differences between last position and the new one, if absolute value is grater then 2 then gPhotoShow consider mouse has been moved. It is possible to twea...

Re: SEH Exception

Hello,
exception c0000094 means a division by zero, it's rather weird because I didn't find any division between the last log line "AdjustIndexes: " and the next one that should appear. However I didn't test filters or plugin and both could be called right there.
Are you using filters or plugin ?

Re: Google Connect Plugin Hangs

Thanks for the log. Crash was caused by the quota error not handled correctly.
It has been fixed in v1.2.2

I also asked Google to raise quota for api calls

Re: File Name fails to show

Hello,
check gPhotoShow settings and make sure the option to display file name is ticked, also verify text size and colors, maybe text size is very small and not visible.

Re: Display location where photo was taken?

Hello, in principle it would be possible to query a webservice and get the location of the picture as long as pictures include gps coordinates. There are unfortunately practical problems, the worst is that free services only allow limited usage and calling it for every picture for many users would r...

Re: Crash (Application Error)

Hello, I think SearchUI.exe is part of Microsoft Cortana, has nothing to do with gPhotoShow. Error 0xc0000142 means a DLL (dynamic load library) failed to initialize, this could be due to temporary cause (and a restart can fix it) or to a corrupted/missing file in this case you should try to perform...

Re: Crash (Application Error)

32 and 64 bit versions have different names and executable files, simply installing the 64 bit version is not enough, you must set it as default screen saver and configure it as logon screen saver: Image 1.png On the windows screen saver applet choose "gPhotoShow Pro 8 64-bit", then in the System Se...

Re: Crash (Application Error)

Are you using gPhotoShow as logon screen saver (Screen saver that runs when no user is logged in) ? In this case it's a known issue. If you are using a 64 bit windows version you can install the 64 bit version of gPhotoShow Pro, if you have a 32 bit version of windows only solution is to go back to ...
