Hi,
Can I convert my slideshow created in Slideshow Maker into a video file, e.g. mp4 or avi?
Regards,

Blurry background
Hi, I already sent this via contact form. But maybe I'll put it up for open discussion as a feature request too. I like the new feature of displaying a blurry version of the image as a background in case the image does not cover the whole screen in version 8. It would be nice on top if gPhotoShow sh...

Re: Scrapbook replacing images
You're right, video memory is a limiting factor. But maybe this is just an idea for a configurable feature in a future release. People with lower video memory available will have to go with a smaller number of pictures shown.
Thanks for your help. And again - good piece of software. Keep it up!

Re: Scrapbook replacing images
Ok, with the picture size set so small, it works here too. But actually I want the pictures to be a little bigger. It seems with larger pictures gPhotoShow considers the screen to be full (thus changing the background then) a lot earlier even with max space between them set to 0. I'd find it better ...

Re: Scrapbook replacing images
Hi Gianpaolo, Thanks for the reply. Max photos and zero space is what I've already tried during the last couple of days. But it does not behave the way you describe it. Max photo is set to 40 (I know, very high, but for testing's sake I set it this high, because 20 didn't do the job either), space i...

Scrapbook replacing images
Hi, I'm using the latest gPhotoShow Pro (7.3.0). With the version before that I started using Scrapbook for my screensaver show. With both versions I've been noticing the effect of Scrapbook replacing already placed images on the screen instead of simply keep piling new images above old ones. It see...

Re: Long startup time
No, there's no background task causing a high CPU load. I got a laptop with a nVidia adapter, too. And there the start of gPhoto is as fast as it was on my desktop PC a couple of months ago. Maybe there really is a bug in the nVidia driver. I reset it to default settings and also played around with ...

Re: Long startup time
Thank you for your response. The computer gets a shut down at night and a fresh restart every morning before I use it. :-) I created the log like you said. I don't see any errors. But I can see the extended time it takes for the first image to be displayed. In this case it was even longer than obser...

Long startup time
Hi, I'm using gPhotoShow Pro 7.2.2 on Windows 7. Lately I noticed that the screensaver takes quite some time to start and show the first image, about 15 seconds. During this time the screen goes black, and no date and time is displayed (which I enabled in the settings). The same thing happens even w...

Re: Feature request: avoid black bars
Ah, ok. I never tried this option. Thanks for the advice. Seems to work so far.
