Hello,
thank you very much for your feedback.
About #2, I don't think it will ever be implemented. It's too complicated to handle

Re: Is there a practical limit to how many images/videos ?

Hello, the only limit is file size. It must be less than 4Gb. by modern standards the program uses little memory, the images are loaded from disk and only the current one is stored in memory. It is very unlikely that a computer with even 4GB will not be able to run gPhotoShow I am running it on a mi...

Re: Controlling when video files play in the sequence of image files and folders

Hello, gPhotoShow builds a single files list with all files, it never plays first video or images, they are always mixed according to the sorting rules. If you set the option to choose folder sequentially then files randomly gPhotoShow will work in that way. Please note that folders will be sorted a...

Re: Feature request: more folder options

Thanks for your suggestions.

I can't say if they will ever be implemented, there are difficulties due to the way the program was designed. For example what is "next folder" when you have a hierarchy of nested folders and are playing files randomly ?

Re: SCR install not obeying settings

Hello, 1) Did you create the installer and installed the screen saver on the target computer using that installer ? 2) The created screen savers works in the same way as gPhotoShow, the code is the same, there are small differences because settings and images are included in the executable. For this...

Re: Display file names in Photowall?

Hello, yes, it is possible. I see no reason why it shouldn't work. In PhotoWall settings tick the option "Main Image settings" in Information overlay. Then Images->Information tick the option "File Name". It is possible you need to adjust the font size. Another option is to confi...

Re: One image showing up horizontal

In the page Images->Display Options make sure the checkbox "Automatically rotate images..." is ticked.
If it is ticked but images are not rotated then it means the exif orientation tag is not in synch with image orientation.

The settings as displayed in the screen shot are OK, but also check monitor #2 (drop down labeled "On Monitor")

Re: Multiple Monitors

I was able to resolve that issue by realizing that when you toggle the directory to select the sub-folders, you apparently must then untoggle the main directory I don't understand what you mean exactly, I can only underline again that gPhotoShow automatically scans the configured folders and all su...
