Hello,
if you wish to change the background periodically but without considering the time when the program is not running you could use the Scheduler. Open Settings, click on Options -> Scheduler
Add an event, Recurring every XX minutes or whatever you wish. Just make sure the option "If operation ...

Re: Bug in app
Hello,
the shortcut "Start gPhotoShow Screen Saver" is correctly linked to c.\windows\gPhotoShow64.scr
That file is the gPhotoShow Pro screen saver. Normally windows runs it since scr is a file extension for executable files just like exe
It is possible that your system's antivirus is preventing you ...

Re: Creating Groups Problem
Unfortunately it is not possible, WallpaperSlideshow only handles 1 group at a time (or all).
The checks in the menu are checks because in a context menu it is not possible to use radio buttons.

Re: 5.4.0 New Filters
Hello,
that setting can only be used to filter landscape oriented/portrait oriented images.
I understand now that the description can be misunderstood but the space for description is limited

Re: Monitor off/on kills gphotoshow
If you are running gPhotoShow Pro as slideshow maker as explained in the " Digital Photo Frame " article then you should have no problems when monitor is turned off and no issues to start the program.

Re: Monitor off/on kills gphotoshow
Hello,
It's a normal windows behavior. From some Windows 10 update when monitor is turned off by power management Windows kills the screen saver. As far as I know there is nothing to do to prevent this behavior.

Re: Image display time keeps increasing
Using OpenGL or DirectX a quick Fade transition is always performed even if you disable all transitions and the next image is preloaded after an image is displayed, this should allow for more precise timing

Re: Image display time keeps increasing
I checked the log but I didn't see any problem, the first image was displayed at 7:30:0 the last at 11:25:33
Since you don't use HW accelerated transitions gPhotoShow doesn't preload images. On each image loading and processing takes 1 or 2 seconds and image after image the delay reached 30 seconds.

Re: Image display time keeps increasing
As I wrote before the delay can't "accumulate", gPhotoShow starts the timer after a picture has been displayed, next image is preloaded as soon as possible so the delay should be minimal. Without an extended log I can't guess the reason of the delay you experienced.

Re: Image display time keeps increasing
I don't quite understand the problem. gPhotoShow changes the image after a certain time interval from the last change, not at a specific time. If you set a time of 5 minutes, it will be 5 minutes from the last image plus the time needed to load and process the image. Since the photos come from a NAS ...
