Parameters not saving in .gss file

Creating a simple photo wall...
Add Directory
Check Photowall as transition
Select Type 2 as photowall type
Select preview. Runs fine.
Save file as default SlideShow.gss.
Run file and it comes up with none of the parameters I added. Nothing has been saved.

I received an upgrade key for the latest 8.5.3 version. Do I not have permission to save? Not sure what is happening here.

how do you run the slideshow ? Did you try to load the same file ?
