rss feed not showing up

i have tried several rss feeds now with no text showing up including the rss feed for gphoto main site it will download images but the ticker seems to not be functional for me i have used yahoo rss google rss npr rss and all i get it the text that i put in for when there is nothing to show

I did a quick test and it seems there is a problem when using DirectX transitions and scrolling ticker. You should use either standard 2d transitions or a static ticker. (non scrolling)
I will investigate about the issue it will need time
