Suggestion for Collaged Photos

I was thinking... I have so many photos on my PC (now about 41,000+), that I am using the collage feature to randomly choose among these, and then when I see them on the wallpaper (on 3-5 secondary monitors) I can spot if a photo needs to be corrected, retouched etc.

It would be very handy if some sort of text file could be generated that would list every photo is the very last wallpaper set (one file per monitor--full file path), so the user could quickly locate for himself the photos visible on the screen, (like in my case, if I spot some changes/corection is needed in the photo(s). Or even better, perhaps an HTML-type file that would even supply him a link to each photo!

That should not be hard to do sincce the program has to have the full file path for every photo in a wallpaper set to generate the wallpaper, right? So, just use that same info and dump it out in case the user needs it.

I bet the info is already in the registry somewhere.

You are right, WallpaperSS keeps a list of all current images in the system registry but you don't need to open it to see which photos it is using, right click on WallpaperSS icon in the windows system tray and from the menu choose "View Original Wallpaper Files" (menu may vary according to WallpaperSS settings). A window will open with thumbnails of images currently displayed on all monitors. If you configured external tools you can open your preferred editor directly from this windows or you can open an explorer window pointing to the folder with selected photo.
