Re: Stopped working
Then it's a windows issue. If you start the screen saver from ControlSS it's same action as waiting for idle. It doesn't start the program directly, it asks windows to start the configured screen saver. Try to change screen saver. Wait for it to start, then go back to gPhotoShow. Usually this fixes ...

Re: Stopped working
Did you notice the log date ? "28-8-2021 5:7:41" those errors are very old Anyway about your issue, there are a lot of possible causes. First of all no screen saver starts by itself, it is always started by windows when the system is idle. So if the screen saver doesn't start you should ch...

Re: No launch at startup - error code 740
I've set the exe to run as administrator, and run at startup, using the compatibility tab in the file's properties, as well as using run at startup from the app settings. WallpaperSS should not be run as administrator, there is no reason to do it. If you set the program to run as administrator then...

Re: Transition Effects
Hello, WallpaperSS is a simple wallpaper changer, it loads an image, resize and set it as desktop wallpaper. The transition is performed by windows not by WallpaperSS for this reason there is only a single transition, the only one performed by windows. There is no plan to implement further transitio...

Re: Randomizer bias
It appears that the randomizer has a bias that lasts about a week or so. Every morning I boot up and launch the program. For about a week we see what appears the same group of folders. Hello, the gPhotoShow random function has no bias by itself, and it is initialized in a more complex way than usin...

Re: Program files sequentially by alpha
Configuration is ok, files should be ordered correctly. Maybe missing files are excluded by Global Exclusions of Filters.
Did you try to click on "View files" in Images page ? Are all files listed ?
If yes then check Filters page maybe some files are excluded.
