Re: The Ugly splashscreen.

I am sorry but I am not an artist, a splash screen could be needed on some slow system to notify users the program is starting. If you can design something better it would be welcome. About disabling the splash screen... if WallpaperSS starts automatically simply tick the option "No splash screen" i...

Re: Occasional crash

Regarding the disabling thing, I didn't realize until afterwards that it's not the screensaver itself, but in fact ControlSS that shows as disabled. I can still run the screensaver manually. If I click the ControlSS icon in the system tray, sometimes it re-enables & stays re-enabled, other times it...

Re: Occasional crash

Well I had another crash & I was going to not only send the log file to you (it did not seem to crash due to a corrupt video file this time) & also ask another question - but I see version 6 is out. I'll get 6 for now & see what happens 1st. If you want the 5.2.2 file anyway, I can still send. Plea...

Re: My Wish List

Well that all sounds cool & I look forward to version 6! For the delete feature, does this mean that we will be able to choose any # of pictures to delete? (Not just 1 but 2, all, or perhaps none?) The confirmation window now shows thumbnails of currently displayed pictures (and previous ones), you...

Re: #25 in the FAQ

It's hard to guess what causes that erratic behavior, I was enable to reproduce it. The only way is to take a look at the gPhotoShow log file. Enable gPhotoShow error logging in the About section of the configuration window, save the gss file and run the slideshow. When you think it doesn't display ...

Re: #25 in the FAQ

It should work exactly as describedin the FAQ, I tested version 5.2.2 few minutes ago. It doesn't matter where the .glst file is placed provided gPhotoShow finds it. One important thing is to avoid to add to the images list any folder containing images, you should create a folder with only the .glst...
