Re: Error Message?

That message is displayed by gPhotoShow when images list is empty, I mean the list in this configuration window: http://www.gphotoshow.com/files/ScreenShots/Images.png You simply need to add a folder with your pictures to that list. Here is a tutorial on how to configure gPhotoShow: http://www.gphot...

Re: GPhotoShow v6 2 issues Doesn't rotate NEFs...

I received your log file. That weird behavior depends on a specific set of settings, it happens only if both options are enabled: - Transitions -> Image change at the end of each movement - Multiple monitors -> Display Method: Same image on all monitors This issue will be fixed in the update of gPho...

Re: GPhotoShow v6 2 issues Doesn't rotate NEFs...

Thank you very much for your feedback. First two posts from new users must be approved since some spammers flooded the forum with some thousands of messages I had a hard time to find and approve your post. 1. I was happy to see support for RAW images, or NEF in my case since I use Nikon, since that'...

Re: gPhotoShow 6 Observations

Now I just observed an interesting but very minor bug. When a video is played (one that is long enough that the time changes), the time of day does not quite refresh properly (if it's visible that is). The other monitor displays the time properly - just the one playing the video does not delete the...

Re: Screensaver not working on all machines

Workstation locking is not performed by the screen saver but it is done by windows. Since Windows 2000 for security reasons the screen saver is run by windows in is own session and at the end it simply exits, then windows locks the workstation of required by the user or by local policies. If somethi...

Re: gPhotoShow stopped working, hangs

Did you install any security program like Comodo Internet Security ? The programs are known to create thins kind of problems. Since the program run without problem for a year probably you installed something that caused this kind of problem. Unininstalling/installing again gPhotoShow hardly can help...

Re: error when changing wallpaper

Hello, that error is returned by the windows API, I really don't know why. It has been reported by several users but in all cases the wallpaper was changed successfully. I may depend on some third party components installed in windows, for example one user started to have this issue when he installe...

Re: gPhotoShow 6 Observations

I got up this morning & turned on the TV & displayed the PC with the screensaver running. The hard drive was displaying very little activity at that time. Yet still, the 2D transitions are a bit choppy - doesn't matter which transitions but it's most noticeable during the one that rolls up ...

Re: gPhotoShow 6 Observations

AFAIK there should be no differences for what concerns the disk activity between v5 and v6 if you have the same settings. In particular DirectX vs standard transition causes the same disk activity but DirectX uses twice (or even more) memory. There are some differences if you are using filters or fi...

Re: The Ugly splashscreen.

I am sorry but I am not an artist, a splash screen could be needed on some slow system to notify users the program is starting. If you can design something better it would be welcome. About disabling the splash screen... if WallpaperSS starts automatically simply tick the option "No splash scre...
