Re: Jerky Videos

Which gPhotoShow Pro version are you using ? Version 7 should be compatible with VLC 3 but only with 32 bit version.

Re: Jerky Videos

Hello,
unfortunately not all VLC parameters can be used from gPhotoShow because VLC itself behave in a different way when used inside third party program. Try the preview of version 3.0 from the link above, it should work better.

Re: API Error 8

It seems windows active desktop fails to set wallpaper, there is another (older) way to set a new wallpaper but currently wallpaperss uses it only when active desktop components are disabled. I don't remember how active desktop works on XP, anyway on next days I will prepare a WallpaperSS version th...

Re: API Error 8

You could try to change the option for "smooth wallpaper change", according to the setting of that option WallpaperSS uses different windows functions so it is possible that the error happens only when using one of the two functions. Anyway I repeat, the error is generated by windows when ...

Re: Not saving last picture as wallpaper in windows 10

Re: API Error 8

That error is returned by Windows function that sets a new desktop wallpaper, it's not a bug in WallpaperSS. Probably windows is low on resources or non-paged memory, there is nothing I can do about it.

Re: Suggestion for Collaged Photos

You are right, WallpaperSS keeps a list of all current images in the system registry but you don't need to open it to see which photos it is using, right click on WallpaperSS icon in the windows system tray and from the menu choose "View Original Wallpaper Files" (menu may vary according t...

Re: API Error 8

Yes, it is possible that a low free ram amount causes that issue, in particular windows XP needs some free nonpaged memory to manipulate bitmaps for the desktop.
